Return Policy Information

Returning or exchanging a product at Atlas Depot Machinery is simple. To start, please read our returns policy details and ensure you have all the information to return your purchase properly and correctly.

How to return your order at Atlasdepotmachinery.com

Sign in using our Returns Portal as a guest or through your Atlas Depot Machinery account to begin the return process. Once the Returns Portal has been accessed, enter your seven-digit order number and order-related email address. If the order return is eligible, click on the item and follow the then given return instructions.

Please follow these steps to initiate a return:

  1. Sign in to our Returns Portal as a guest or through your Atlas Depot Machinery account.
  2. Enter your seven-digit order number and order-related email address for processing.
  3. If order-eligible, click on the returned item and follow the instructions then given.

Some restrictions may apply when using the returns portal.

Return Authorization Guide

Some items may need to be return-eligible through our Returns Portal. If you receive a message in the portal that your item is not eligible for a return with us, a return authorization is required for a return to be processed for said product.

To gain access to an Atlas Depot Machinery Return Authorization, please follow these instructions:

  1. Submit a request via our Contact Us form.
  2. An Atlas Depot Machinery representative will contact you in 1 to 3 business days (Monday through Friday).

If you are unsatisfied with your product, we will gladly replace the item or refund the money you spent.

Returned Item & Merchandise Requirements

The following includes everything that must be included with all returned orders, items, and merchandise:

  • Original packaging.
    • Including but not limited to original boxes, Styrofoam, bubble wrap, plastic bags, etc.
  • Original and intact UPC barcode.
    • Removal of the UPC voids any possibility of the return request being honored.
  • Original packing slip.
  • All accessories, including cords, carrying cases, transformers, remote controls, batteries, assembly tools, etc.
  • All manufacturer instruction manuals, warranty cards, registration information, and other documentation.

Return Restrictions

Defective Merchandise (Must have return authorization):

If you receive a defective item within 30 days of shipping the merchandise from the warehouse, Atlas Depot Machinery will exchange a faulty item for a replacement item. Atlas Depot Machinery will reimburse you for the original ground shipping expenses. For defects after 30 days, please refer to the manufacturer for warranty information.

Non-defective Merchandise (Must have return authorization):

If you return an item that is not defective within 30 days of shipping the merchandise from the warehouse, Atlas Depot Machinery will refund a non-defective item. Non-defective items may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% of the purchase price, and you are responsible for all original and return shipping expenses.

Gasoline-Powered Items (Must have return authorization):

These items cannot be returned to Atlas Depot Machinery once the gas has been added to the machine. If gas has been added, the unit must be taken to an authorized service center for repair, typically covered under warranty. Consult your product manual or manufacturer for warranty information.

More Oversized Items (Must have return authorization):

Some items require special shipping and handling. Some more oversized items may require a freight carrier or may exceed the weight limits allowed in the Returns portal.

Jet Tools, Powermatic, Edwards, and Baileigh (JPW Industries) (Must have a return authorization from the manufacturer):

Due to the cost of transporting many of these items, returns will only be approved after the customer contacts the manufacturer directly and speaks with their Technical Support Department. If they can resolve the issue or send replacement parts, they will do so, and the item will not be approved for return. If the item is deemed defective and not repairable, JPW Industries will work with Atlas Depot Machinery to arrange the return of the faulty item. JPW Industries can be reached at +1 (800) 274-6848.

If you have a non-technical or non-defective return, please refer to the information above about the non-defective merchandise.

Free Good Promotion Returns:

If when you initially made your purchase with us at Atlas Depot Machinery, you had received a FREE GOOD with your purchase, you must additionally return said FREE GOOD along with the item purchased to get full credit for your refund with us. If you do not return your FREE GOOD, you will be ineligible for a full refund.

Other Promotion Returns:

Atlas Depot Machinery reserves the right to change, deny, or revoke all returns and refunds involving promotional opportunities, both in-store at local store locations and online at Atlas Depot Machinery.

Defective Merchandise (Classified as non-defective):

If you decide to initiate a return at Atlasdepotmachinery.com and classify your item as non-defective, your item must arrive at our Atlas Depot Machinery warehousing facility undamaged and non-defective. If your returned item is misclassified and arrives defective, a restocking fee of up to 15% of the original purchase price may apply.
